There's a boy thing going on at The Paper Shelter this week

Good morning all

Hope you are all well and happy-
I've been having a wonderful little time to myself over the last week!

I started off last Wednesday with a lovely trip to the theatre to see Wicked - I took my Mam along for  coffee and cake  (except I forgot my purse so she had to pay :  / ) - then we went to the afternoon matinee - it was just a fabulous show, I really loved it.  The only downside was that the girl who was playing the lead roll took in 45 minutes into the show and they had to stop the show for 30 minutes to get the understudy on - I assume that's how long it must take to paint someone green and get ready to take over the role!!

We then went off to Sorrento on the Amalfi coast in Italy for a looong weekend.  We went with our bestest friends and had just a wonderful time! -relaxing, eating out for drinks and sight seeing.  Pompeii was amazing - I was just totally in awe of  how advanced they were in this wonderful place while we were still living in mud huts! And the Isle of Capri was just so beautiful, it was such a lovely treat and a shame it was all over so soon.  Now I need to catch up on  my blogging and crafting - busy busy busy!!

But onto this weeks challenge at

The Paper Shelter

Our theme this week is

For the boys

this is my card made with the cute
Graduated with Great Honour available HERE
I used the pre-coloured version for a quick and easy card

I made this card for my son Matthew to give him when he came home at Easter
He got his results for his Masters degree earlier in the year

Ohh what a lovely time you have had lately. It´s wonderful to travel and get to know about other places other countries. I love your boycard. It´s not so easy to make cards for men and boys. There´s not so many masculine motifs to find. In this case maybe easier when it has to be something for an exam. In Sweden we have white caps for our exam. You will soon see cards with those caps on my blog.
I really long for nice and warm springdays now. Here is cold and cloudy. I hope you can enjoy lovely weather .
Hugs from Eva

Brilliant card Judith. Love that image and bet Matthew will be stoked with his lovely card when he gets in. Congrats to him for doing so well!! Shame about your interruption to Wicked. We saw it here in NZ and the Canadian lead was amazing! So I hope it was just as good when the understudy took over. Your Italian holiday sounds amazing too. I'm well jell! There's still so much I want to see. But a wee bit trickier now we're back in NZ. Will just have to explore our own backwaters, LOL. Have an awesome week. Hugs, Wends x

Fabulous graduation card, Judith! Huge congratulations to your son on his brilliant achievement...you must be so proud. Glad you enjoyed Wicked (have not seen it), and your holiday sounds wonderful. I saw Pompeii and the Isle of Capri in 1989, and was blown away by them both. I always remember the glorious colours of the bouganvillia.
